Uhh...no?Tak Matsumoto still has a permanent label. Van Halen doesn't, unless Warner Bros. has taken them back. Tak's original band, B'z, has had the same lineup for twenty years. Van Halen's changed lead vocalists three times, and at least two of them are barely on speaking terms with EVH. All three blame EVH for their departure.

It would have been really great if TMG had tried their luck in the US, but the problem is that it seems that Tak should be the focus of the band, and more attention would be given to the lead singer, Eric Martin.Still, Tak can play rings around Eddie Van Halen, and that's reason enough for me to buy this CD.
