Street Fighter Arcade (one credit keyboard play)

--The very first Street Fighter game--No, this isn't a third-party hack or whatever it may look like, this is indeed the first Street Fighter title by Capcom that made an arcade appearance in 1987 before making it to the Turbo TurboGrafx-CD (PC Engine) as "Fighting Street" one year later. Unlike its sequels, this one as you can see has special moves that are notoriously difficult to pull off. And I use the keyboard.I did one earlier but it yielded more evidence of the player trying to pull those moves off, so I did another and also ended up getting a higher score lol. Other than that, this must also be the first fighting game in the world that has more complex move controls other than the basic punch and kick buttons (that executes the fireball and dragon punch and copter kick moves). And unfortunately, I did it in just one miserable credit. Hope you enjoy watching it.***EXCELLENT English text provided by the Japanese! Be grateful!

"Wha strength but don forget der ah gahs lak yah all ovah tha wahld"Hahahah, classic. I could do fireballs and dragon punches about 1/3 of the time. Damn difficult to pull off. Kudos to your one credit win, the game is cheap as hell (Sagat, anyone?).

Game was pretty crappy as the first SF game by Capcom, but Street Fighter 2 was however one of break throughs in the history

I heard from somewhere that the unexplained color change was due to "birdie having vitiligo"

Oh, and by the way, it's not a bug, you can pull-off constant dragon punches if you know how and knock-out the guy with one correctly timed dragon punch. I knocked sagat out in one hit and the clock said "99" time left. gotta be lucky though to time it like that, but without special moves on the arcade version it is pretty much impossible to complete it.

I fully agree. When I saw Street Fighter Zero in 1995 I was appalled to see Birdie graduate from being a white hooligan to a black one.I think Capcom made the switch probably because they didn't want to portray whites in a negative light (after all their customer base in Europe and America are largely white people). The sales figures count too. This must be the unspoken reason.
