Extè inaugurates the new year with an ultra special event on January 15th 2008. It's a pop-up club starting at 9 p.m. and lasting well into the night. An explosive succession of surprises, emotions, music, performances and other forms of creative expression giving guests the chance to experience the Extè world firsthand.A unique exclusive party it is. Extè invites its guests to explore the brand at BaseB on Via Lambruschini -- venue now making its world fashion debut -- in Milan's industrial archeology Bovisa district.The emotional journey begins with a walk through a neon-lit corridor. Then passing by a big 900 pixel test tube Extè sign, guests come to the emotion lounge. This is the hot zone, where after going through a metal detector they may enter the "laboratory" with X-rays and thermo sensitive images of human bodies projected on a giant screen.Beyond this "gate" the POP UP effect explodes, as a small door leads to a large space. Heartbeat of the party.Solid green fluorescent-lit structures decorate the interior, along with research lab-style bar areas where colorful cocktails get served in phials, flacons and test tubes.In this intense atmosphere of exploration and discovery a laser light catalyzes attention, attracts guests toward the first ice & mirror displays showcasing items from the Exté fall/winter '08/'09 collection.Further on, streams of an emotional light illuminate the farm stage, a catwalk populated by clones busy formulating and elaborating amid refrigerators, science lab tables and ice cubes.The panorama of the Extè universe is complete: eyewear, watches, fragrances, the new ACHT line of shoes, plus a preview of some of the clothes for the fall/winter '08/09 season.Forever inspiring Extè products are technology and creativity, ultimate principles behind a design vision at once edgy, clean and audacious.
