Mr nuggethunting is right, detectors don,t tell you where the gold is, you have to work this out yourself, a good detector will tell an operator who knows how to use his machine if there is a target under the coil, this target maybe gold, if finding gold with a detector was easy every second person would have one. go well

Hello Nevawake, Sorry you were not successful with the Minelab's. Minelab metal detectors are not magic wands. It's takes hundreds, if not thousands of hours to become a successful nugget hunter. Who thought finding gold nuggets was easy, you? I found tons of iron rubbish with them, but many .... many pounds of gold. Without a doubt, the Minelab GPX-4500 is one of the best handheld metal detectors on the market for gold gold nuggets.Take care

Good salesman for minelab dude. You very much sound like a minelab rep. All i found with my minelabs was junk. No gold or you would have to work 8 hours straight to maybe find 1.
