well keep in mind in world war 2 we trying to figure out a way to turn bats into flying incendiary bombs, and actually found a way to do it. reality is crazier than fiction

This is stupid and completely ineffective, when you clear mines its over vast expanses of land - that thing is way to slow, how ridiculous did that look, come on people get real.

This duo is not intended for the battlefield; it's designed to demine the millions of active land mines still in place from over a century of past wars. Thousands of civilians all over the world are killed annually from these remaining mines, so an innovative approach like this could hasten the global demining effort. For the most part, land mines have been banned from military use worldwide since the Ottawa Treaty of 1997, so demining is now more of a humanitarian issue than a military one.

hehehe... "teamed up" and "guiding"? Sounds more like the machine pushes the shit-scared rodent into the minefield. But hey. I'd rather see the mongoose go ka-boom than a human being.

looks like it takes 10 years to move a meter lol by the time this things gone over a mine field, the war would be over and the mongoose would have died from old age. |
