ok, so apparently I'm talking to a 12-14 year old. Because 1. only a 12-14 year old would get scared by those movies. 2.you seem to think in the way of "Well, it's obviously got a small budget, so it's got to be shit". Hostel was so bloody it was funny, mot one time was i scared watching that piece of gore porn. The Grudge was an inferior re-make of the Japanese movie Ju-On:the grudge. House of Wax made me want to slam kick a baby. if you want GOOD horror then watch the classics...

I can't understand how you can say that old horror movies are more scary than new. I only laught when I watch old movie and horror movies should not be funny, they should be scary. This is the list of couple good horror movie: Hostel I,II , Saw I,II,III,IV , The Grudge I,II , The Hills have eyes I,II ,The Ruins , Halloween (2007), House of wax, Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning, The Eye

This movie was made on a rather low budget, so the graphics look realistic. O_O

its based off the same guy silence of the lamb was based off... the writers of this and a bunch of movies just got the idea off of a crazy murderer and then turned it into their own story
