because in Germany, they have the autobahn. Fine, i can get a fast car here in the US, but where can i drive it legally. Getting a car with a ownage engine is pointless cuz you never get to drive it at its fullest potential.

You don't say...Don't you understand that wherever a car is designed or manufactured there are regional differences? The Japanese RPS13 is badged 180SX, but it's practically (if not exactly) the same as the European 200SX, but the American one has a 2.4 NA engine and is badged 240SX.Same car, different regional variations. So it's right to say the 'European SX' or 'American SX'.
