Catvolution.com visited MDI.lu in Nice, France in June 2008. The purpose of the visit was to get more facts and information from MDI to help clear up the confusion on the Internet due to conflicting information.This interview with Cyril Negre helps explain a lot about the MDI air car that has been seen for several years.Please note that I am not a professional audio-visual technician or interviewer. I am not interested in arguing the quality of the audio, video, my voice, the questions I asked or anything else unrelated to the cars.This 15 minute video had to be heavily edited to meet the YouTube 10 minute mark. I hated to do it, but I thought it was very important to keep this in one file.Btw, my "Woah" at the end of the video is a little embarrassing (I was crouching in a moving car and what happened will not be discussed). ;-)

What the hell? It would be great for all countries, this would be a two person transportation vehicle, thats all you need to drive do work and go on dates... you could make a gas hybrid, and the tank could last you from los Angeles to New York city!

Hmm So what happened to the e.volution air car which looks IDENTICAL to the one in this video that was launched in late 2000 in South Africa? Helen brown the licence (there's that word again) purchaser was going to be churning them out by 2002.

It's a con and has been for 16 years. 30 kph for 7.2km that's it, no more. Equivalent energy capacity in the tanks to 2 cups full of petrol. Whee!

MDI will have a "new" website up soon and hopefully they will be more pro-active in answering people's questions. Right now, they are just 100% focused on the cars.

i like the mdi car car alot . the only fault i have with mdi is that every thing you find on the internet about when you can get your hands on a mdi car is always a different year . mdi should keep people more informed and they should bring the cars they have on a tour of all major european cities , so people can get to see these cars up front. is there any set date when the public can buy one of these cars .
