Loved this show for 45-years! In 1964, the ending theme song was my favourite song. Love all the Gerry Anderson shows and movies; they are a part of my soul.

My mom bought me a Steve Zodiac on his flying scooter when I was in the hospital having my tonsils out (I was 5). It was like a half size action man in a sitting position plus his 'scooter'. I was the only kid in the ward and I 'zoomed about' under the beds with it. I wish I still had it, probably worth a fortune! I never saw a an XL5 rocket toy version though? Loved Space Patrol as well... Captain Larry Dart,(my name is Larry too!) probably why I liked it so much! :)

I had the Space City/Fireball XL5 kit as a kid! I used to shot those side toredos at my sister and bounce off her head!

Gerry Anderson was so ahead of his time I think. To think how cool this stuff is and we think we have advanced to much..this is much better than stuff on tv now!!!

my favorite show when it aired!I had the board game and kept it in perfect condition.. till the flood :(Because of the mention of "StarDust" in the closing song and also the name of Space Angel's ship being "Starduster", i always name sailing or space ships StarDust or XL5 in any space games ever since. LOL |
