I work for Budget. It could be they are short on help. Its NOT the employees fault that there short people but yet a customer will take it out on them. Keep in mind the employee TOO is under stress about long lines and little help. They dont want to hear your griping about waiting in line (which happens often) if its not the employees fault!! Just ask to talk to a manager for they often do all the staffing and scheduling. JUST BE PATIENT SHUT UP AND WAIT...LOL

you must read the Wall Street Journal, right? With the exception of pharma, the whole market is down. Really, you ARE NOT the Paul Revere of rental car news. And no, I do not work for them. I am just a human. And yes, like everything else, this will be going self-serve. human contact is just not convenient for anyone anymore...people are afraid of people.

Let's see, 1 year ago Avis Budget Stock (CAR) was $30.24/share and now it is $5.69/share which equates to a drop of about 80 percent. If your 401K was invested in Avis Budget Stock you will not be retiring this week. I can understand your sentiment. But, in all fairness, I do not think that they will be around in their current form for much longer.

You should call Guiness, I have lived in Florida my entire 57 years, and 2 minutes is RECORD BREAKING!!!! Why on Earth didn't you tape that??? Oh that's right, there wasn't a 7 week pregnant woman in line, as they can't get on rides, but can certainly fly on planes! Really, get a job, maybe for Budget

Good point, but We did Call Budget "hotline" and all we got was a service message, and they were not answering with LIVE person. We did get a 15% discount coupon a few days ago. So Maybe AVIS/Budget was listening/ watching. - just one of the whiners.
