Narkol diye Mangsho

Ingredients:

Mutton 
Coconut 
Garlic paste 
Onion finely chopped
Ginger paste 
Bay leaves 
Red chilly powder 
Ghee/Oil 
Salt and sugar to taste.

1 whole grated

Method:
Add warm water to the coconut and make a thick milk. 
Cook mutton for about 10 minutes in pressure cooker with minimum water. 
Drain Mutton and set aside. Reserve the stock.
Heat ghee/oil in a non-stick pan.
Put in onion and bay leaves. Sauté until brown. 
Add ginger, garlic paste and red chilly powder. 
Add mutton to the spice mixture. Cook until the masala is cooked. 
Add in coconut milk. Stir well till the milk is mixed well. 
Add the stock & cook stirring occasionally, until the mutton is cooked and the gravy thickens.
Remove from fire, add 1 tsp ghee and serve with steaming rice & pulao.
