 Garlic Paneer
Ingredients:
Paneer
Potato (large)
Green peas (shelled)
Ginger
Green chili
Garlic paste
Oil
Salt
Kasoori Methi

Method:
Boil potatoes, skin & cut each potato lengthwise into eight pieces. Rub with salt & keep aside
Boil peas in salt water and drain
Cut paneer into 2½" long sticks
Slit green chilies lengthwise & deseed
Cut ginger into long fine stripes
Heat 3 tbsp oil, fry paneer till lightly coloured and soak the fried paneer pieces in salt water for 10-15 minutes
Fry potatoes in the same oil till light brown
Add 1 tbsp oil to the same oil, lower the flame and put garlic paste. Stir fry for 1 minute
Add ginger & chilies, fry for 2 minutes
Add peas then paneer and potato pieces. Stir rapidly but carefully not to break the pieces
Sprinkle kasoori methi and mix thoroughly
Serve hot with paratha or puri.
