 Amrit Puri
Ingredients:
Flour
Soft khoya
Sugar
Milk
Black cardamom
Roasted poppy seeds
Roasted anardana
Ghee
 
250 gms
25 gms
2 cups
1 cup

for frying

  

Method:
Mix 2 tbsp ghee and flour thoroughly
Then mix khoya & crushed black cardamom, kead to a soft dough by adding water
Boil sugar & water to make a syrup of 2 string consistency when preparing the dough
Make balls of 1" diameter from the dough
Roll out each ball on a roller pin to make a thick small sized puri
Fry puris in ghee & soak directly in hot sugar syrup
Wait for 5-10 minutes & take out the puris.
Arrange puris on a large thali & sprinkle roasted poppy seeds & anardana on them.
