***** Nice stove Dave!I've been OUT of the woodstove business for more than 25 years because In MY opinion -cutting, hauling & splitting wood just plain SUCKS! We had The Big Buck stove - it was the best on the martket at the time... I think you've got it beat though! Love your stuff! Keep'em comin Bro!

you are begging to burn your shop down the old fashoined way arent you Dave ?glowing red steel is a major sign of overheating and it is nothing like a modern high effecient stove. new epa approved stoves would heat way more area effectively with half the wood and exclude the danger factor

i used one drum and lined the bottom half with brick, less to go wrong and works great.use a window fan to blow the heat around.

Actually if it was covered with stone, it would be even more efficient, because it would accumulate heat... Also, the heat is somewhat nicer... But it's a great metal stove anyways!
