if your commenting on this film from watching it on tv you have never seen the full version its pretty rough.

I agree, not by todays standards, however the rape scene is still very strong stuff. I saw it at the cinema years ago and what was shown on tv was definitely a watered down version if I remember correctly. A cracking British film though non the less.
