Given the USA has an obesity-diabetes epidemic a food shortage has a silver lining.Meanwhile stop using arable land for biofuels - food is more important than driving your obese SUV to the supermarket!Save oil by increasing public transport, mandating fuel efficient cars, tax petrol more to subsidise public transport and plug-in hybrid conversions.Oil is essential for agriculture, mining, shipping, air travel. We must stop burning it in obscene large gas-guzzling cars and SUVs.
