Waters should be jailed for her activities blocking Republican calls for regulations on Fannie/Freddie in 2004. She, along with the other Democrats on the financial services committee, strenuously opposed the Republicans calling for more oversight on the GSEs. She should be 'rewarded' for her contributions to the mortgage mess with investigations.

This show is where people get their political views from?America, you deserve a worse plague than nuclear holocaust, as that is too good for you.How much longer must it persist?Naive Americans, you probably believe this country will last for eternity. I bet the Romans, Persians, Babylonians, Byzantines, Egyptians, Ottomans, and all the others believed the same thing.Guess what the outcome is? Destruction, and there is no way out of it.

The League of California Cities honored U.S. Rep. Maxine Waters today during the closing general session of its 110th Annual Conference today in Long Beach. The congresswoman was recognized for her outstanding contribution to California cities and, in particular, her work on the Housing and Economic Recovery Act of 2008.

ACORN under investigation by the FBI for voter registratio fraud in 13 states. Maxine Waters is on video praising Franklin Raines, CEO of Fannie Mae for his excellent management of the failed organization. Maxine Waters "fought" diligently against Bush Administration Officials & members of congress who attempted to "regulate" Fannie Mae. Maxines good friend, Franklin Raines, got $90million and was ordered by a civil court to pay $24 million in punishment for "fraudulent acctg" practives.

Why do states have all these different rules for this election?I think because states want to feel involved in the elections rules. But I think the individual states and their rules are heavily influenced by the 2 party winner-take-all election system. The historical record is filled with election flaws. If you want more info on more fair election schemes go to:FairVote org |
