My Grandfather was a coal miner in West Virgina,Then he moved to Kentucky and became a farmer and not long after a Preacher.He past away when I was eight,never met Grandma she was already gone before I was born.This song means so much to me.People today have no concept what our loved one's done for us in the past.I'm 41 and Iv'e just realized in the past few years.Love your family and heritage...!

i did not grow up in butcher hollerbut about 45 mins from there.love ky singers of any kind even bluegrass. would love to move back to the homeplace someday!!!!!

It's hard to appreciate this video knowing that afterwards, she will puke her guts out. She was bulemic and forced herself to vomit all the time. I keep picturing beef burritos and beans spewing out of her mouth and spraying all over her toilet. Did you know that I once inserted a whole stick of unsalted margarine up my ass?
