The health staffs of Ketugram Primary Health center today suspended operation of the PHC protesting against police inaction. A group of eight dacoits raided the PHC residential quarters at Kandra area in Ketugram PS, Katwa last night and robbed cash and gold ornaments worth Rs. 5 lakh altogether. The gang continued raiding consecutive five quarters for more than 45 minutes. The health staffs resumed work after the Katwa Sub-Divisional Medical Officer assured prompt police action. The SP, Burdwan, Niraj Kumar Singh said that investigation has been expedited in Ketugram.
