Durgapur, 27 Feb: A scooter rider died on spot and his colleague sustained severe injury late this afternoon in A-Zone area in Durgapur. The victims were returning from the local steel hospital after attending a patient when a minibus of Waria-Prantika route crushed their two-wheeler. The irate locals detained the bus and beat up the driver, Shibu Saha, later rescued by the city police.
