Durgapur, 08 Feb 04 : More than 120 scientists from all over the country is currently in the Steel city attending a seminar on All India Advanced Metallurgy for Manufacturing Technology organised by Institute of Engineers (India) and C.M.E.R.I.

G. P. Sinha, the Director, C.E.M.R.I. said at the occasion, "As per the WTO agreement, all manufacturing units right from the heavy to the small sector ones have to abide by the international standards like the ozone friendliness, quality etc. This specially implies on the Import & Export segment." He also stated that, C.E.M.R.I. will check & certify of such international quality control.
