Durgapur, 7 July 04 : Workers staged demonstration inside Bhanora colliery of ECL in Baraboni PS area this afternoon when an worker Sk Latif (45) was pressed under a coal loaded dumper. He died on spot. He was hit by the heavy vehicle while moving from one location to another in the mine area. The workers suspended work for hours alleging dearth of safety measure in the mine premises.
