05 Jan 04 : The Trilokyanath Vidyatan of
Bhiringi, Durgapur celebrated its Platinum jubliee
from 1st Jan - 4th Jan '04.
Daily cultural functions including performances by
current & ex students & teachers. Kathak
dance performed by Shri Sadananda Biswas, a noted
kathak dancer & a student of Pandit Rajendra Kumar

Ganganir, and science exhibition by teacher
Kaji Golam Mohammad Siddquie were most notable
amongst them.
Dr. Rabindra Nath, an ex-student of the school and
currently associated with chemistry department of
Duri University in USA, donated Rs. 10,000.
"This fund will be utilised in building up a
book bank for the needy students of the school. A
library will be setup with the help of other noted
ex-students of the school" said Dr. Sushil
Bhattacharya, Head Teacher of the school. |
