The fever of Dhananjoy Chatterjee's hanging seems not to fade at least till. The impact of the incidence is so vast that, children from almost all over the state are facing accidental deaths by hanging themselves or their buddies to experience a first hand experience of the hanging. Milan Sangha, a club at Poitara village under Galsi P.S. had arranged for a `Manush Jhulan' like every other years but they couldn't themselves from depicting the (in)famous incident of Dhananjoy's hanging. The club kept the administration at dark by officially announcing a different act on the day's schedule. The club quite famous in the area for

its jhulan yatra erected five make shift platforms on a pond. Each of the platforms depicted Dhananjoy's look alike incidents like getting arrested, brought to court, getting hanged by the hangman, mother & wife breaking down at Kalimandir etc. Although the club officials declined this to be a depiction of Dhananjoy's incidence the resemblance with the fact prove to be quite different from their claims.

The officials from Galsi police station visited the village & closed down the act yesterday night itself. However, none has been arrested & the jhulan yatra is in full swing on its final day i.e. today. The district police super Niraj Kumar Singh informed that police had intercepted as soon as they received the information & have initiated a probe on this. The Galsi police is yet tight-lipped how a club could have arrange for such a show inspite of government's instruction of not to depicting Dhananjoy's incidence in any manner including the lighting of the oncoming Durgapuja.
