The directorate of health have issued order to transfer of three ward masters of the Burdwan Medical College & Hospital based on the enquiry report submitted by the principal of the college. The probe was conducted after the clash between the ward masters & doctors took place some three weeks before. The doctors accused four ward masters for the incident & lodged complaint against them. The three transferred were named in the FIR lodged by the doctors.

Prabhakar Chatterjee, the director of health services confirmed to bardhaman.com, "we have already issued the transfer order." However the principal of the medical college, Dr. Bijoy Mukherjee said, "we are yet to receive the order, once we receive such order further steps will be taken to follow it."  A leader of the ward masters' association informed that, after receiving the order they will seek legal assistance against this government move. They further told that, they are surprise to see that both the committee that were constituted to look in to the matter did not have any one of their representative and claimed this probe to be a biased one.
