The M.U.C. Womens' college have received B++ accreditation of NAC. A team from NAC visited MUC womens' college & Vivekanada college of Burdwan & surveyed the facilities & educational infrastructure of both the colleges. The Vivekananda Mahavidyalay also got a B+ certification from NAC. The council also instructed the college to launch more job oriented course & to make available more books & journals.

The principal of the college, Sukriti Ghoshal informed, "we missed out the A++ accreditation by a whisker". Ghoshal said although he is happy about the rank received by his college, the authority is keen to better its performance. He said, "we received above 80% score on NAC's evaluation, but we should & are sure to improve."
