The Municiapal Boys high school emerged as champion of the Burdwan municipality organised inter school knock-out football tournament beating the Railways Vidyapith by 3-1 goals. Municipal school was leading by 1-0 at the half time after which the winners managed to score two more goals. The runners-up netted the ball once from a penalty kick. Biswajit Pasi & Sanket Roy of Municipal school & Irfan Alam of railways scored the goals.
