, 25 Jan. 04 : Gupi Gayen had enchanted a jam packed
Bardhaman Utsav this evening. Dr. Anup Ghoshal (the voice
behind the famous Gupi Gayen of Satyajit Roy) performed at
the Utsav along with his daughter Anupama Ghoshal.
Over more than 4,000 people accumulated to hear his voice
bringing alive the magic of Gupi Gayen Bagha Bayen, Hirak
Rajar Deshe, Gupi Bagha Phire Alo & Massoom. Dr.
Ghoshal did justice to his fame & the expectations of
the audience. His not only sung his famous numbers but
also presented a bouquet of Rabindrasangeet, Adhunik &
folk numbers. |
