The WBSEB officials & the city police today nabbed up manager of two hotel & restaurant for theft of electricity. Based on specific information, personnel of West Bengal State Electricity Board led by assistant engineer, Subir Roy along with police force raided the restaurants & found them guilty of power theft. The managers of both the restaurants have been arrested by the police as their owners are fleeing. Roy informed that both these restaurants & hotel owners were engaged with power theft since a long time & they used to run all gadgets including air conditioners. "We will continue & rather strengthen the anti electricity theft drive." The district police super, Niraj Kumar Singh informed to bardhaman.com that the police will always assist the WBSEB at their drive.
