A three & half years old boy have died of snake bite after being treated & certified by a village ojha. Monday evening Bhim Khan of Barabelun village under Bhatar police station was bitten by a snake. His parents along with villagers took the child to a local ojha instead of taking him to the hospital. The ojha diagnosed that he has been bitten by some `non-venomous snake'. The family returned home & had a good night's sleep. The child was rushed to a doctor yesterday morning when his condition worsened. Bhim was referred to the Burdwan medical college & hospital where he expired.
