Burdwan , 06 May 04 :  
A man have been battered to death by a neighbour this morning at Rasikpur village under Galsi police station. Sukumar Bagdi (30) was beaten by Bapi Bagdi, a 20 years old neighbour till he passed away at around 9 am this morning.

Bapi was loved by Sukumar's widow aunt, Arati Bagdi. "She even used to ignore her own son & daughter for the sake of Bapi" informed Dinu, brother of Sukumar. "Today morning the fight started & we set them apart. Bapi threatened to teach a lesson to my brother. Later when we all was away to our agricultural fields, we heard Bapi has chased my brother & battered him to death" he added.

Police officials informed that, both Arati & Bapi are absconding after the dreadful act.
