The Burdwan police have captured two dacoits after a
thrilling roadside action. The four miscreants
from Asansol were in the city to execute a dacoity
at the local sonapatti. The four came by
train & boarded on two rickshaws & headed
towards their destination. Police was waiting for
them at the Nurses' Quarter area, based on a
tip-off. The group threw bomb as soon as they
sensed the police presence. In spite of the bombs,
police officials comprising, Pintu Mukherjee,
Manirul Haque & Joydip Lodha managed to nab up
two miscreants while the rest couple manage to
escape. |
