A major center of attraction of not only visitors from Durgapur but also nearby areas, this puja is on its
34th year. As per the organisers, the puja is outcome of the year long planning of not only the club members, but also that of the people of the area.
The mandap this year is in shape of the famous Taj
Mahal of Agra. The Durga idol is a superb piece of
art with solar saaj. The organisers explained that
the Taj Mahal have been chosen as the famous
monument is celebrating its 350th anniversary this
year.
