As the name suggests,
this Durgapuja of Durgapur is organised by the
businessmen of the area. This Durga puja have chosen
the ancient Durgapuja of Calcutta or Kolkata as the
theme. The mandap is designed as an attalika
(mansion). The debi image is seen here to have
arrived in a boat. A typical ancient ghat of Ganges
have been drawn here in accordance with the theme.
