This puja is on the 48th
year. The Durga pratima is a real beauty & is
built in traditional style. People of all community
willingly contribute to fund this puja. The mandap
is in style of a temple. More than 1300 people offer
their anjali here & every local people have a
community lunch on the asthami day. Although this
Durgapuja of Rupnarayanpur is situated at the border
of Jharkhand, but only Bengali songs are played
during the puja days. A very homely atmosphere is
maintained at this Durgapuja.
