One of the noted Durgapuja of Asansol celebrating its 65th puja this year. The mandap has been built depicting the ISKON temple of Mayapur. The puja is famous not for the extravaganza but for the involvement of the local people. "Over 500 local families have a community meal here for the all four days of the Durgapuja," claimed Tapas Mukherjee, Assistant Secretary of the committee.

The main attraction of this puja is the daily cultural events presented at the evening within the Durgapuja premises.
